Anglia Ruskin University was awarded university status in 1992 and today we are one of the largest universities in the East of England with over 20,000 students. Sutton Trust
The Sutton Trust is a charity founded in 1997 by Sir Peter Lampl with the aim of promoting social mobility through education. The Trust’s focus is on improving educational opportunities for non-privileged young people through research and policy work as well as practical projects. Villiers Park Educational Trust
The Trust is recognised as a national expert in provision for post-16 Gifted and Talented students. It has over forty years’ experience of working with able students and their teachers – approximately 2,000 delegates take part in over 100 Villiers Park activities each year. Courses are held at its residential conference centre near Cambridge and at schools, colleges and universities nationally. Projects in partnership with Young Gifted and Talented include the provision of online extension activities for AS/A2 students at www.ygtactivities.org.uk.
