Course Description:
Did the Titanic really sink, or was another ship sent in her
place as part of the most audacious insurance claim in
history? This year sees the 100 Year Anniversary of the
sinking of the Titanic and this compelling one day course will
seek answers to some of the mysteries that still surround this
amazing vessel. Pupils will act as eyewitnesses on board the
Titanic on the night that she sinks and provide first person
accounts as to what took place. Using a variety of mediums
including the television studio, recording studio, podcasting
and iPads, pupils will seek to unravel what (and maybe
whom) caused this legendary liner to end up on the bottom of
the ocean.
Course Cost: £25 Per Pupil (1 SLA Credit Per Two Pupils)
